Little Adam’s peak is the nephew of Adam’s Peak. From the top enjoy the view over the valley, relax and connect with other travelers. From Ella Town to the foot of the mountain takes 45 minutes, and to get to the top around 15 minutes. The first 45 minutes are very pleasing as well when you pass a local village and tea plantations.

Getting a more quiet spot is possible when you walk down and up (5 minutes) to the next hill. There is no actual path but you can get there with a bit of hiking. On your way back, stop at 98 Acres Resort for a coffee or tea with a view.

Ella is one of the great mountaineering destinations in Sri Lanka. When considering the word ‘Little’, do not ignore Little Adam’s Mountain, a beautiful tourist destination in Sri Lanka, as it is named after the two mountains above the sacred Adam’s Peak (Sri Pada – The footprint of the Lord Buddha is preserved there). If you want to enjoy some of the best views without hours of climbing, Little Adams Peak is a great journey, especially for an unforgettable sunset.

Another name for the Little Adam’s peak is “Punchi Sri Pada”. Its height is 1141 meters. Little Adam’s Peak attracts many tourists to Sri Lanka. You can easily climb Little Adams peak (Punchi Sri Pada) and get valuable views. You can see the green tea plantations and the amazing views of the waterfalls and paddy fields. If you can get there when the morning clouds roll in, it is priceless. Other places like Little Adam’s Peak (mini Adam’s Peak) have the idea of ‘How far Sri Lanka is worth and beautiful natural destinations of Sri Lankan tourism’. It will feel like a neck exercise to the viewer as you have to rotate your body to get a remarkable 360-degree view.

Ella is a small town with waterfalls, caves and geographically important destinations. One of the place is Adam’s Peak, depicted on Mount Pyramid Shape, opposite Ella Rock. Take care not to harm the plants, flowers and animals you encounter on the way up the mountain.

• Hiking Little Adam’s Peak

It takes 20 – 40 minutes to reach the peak of Little Adam’s peak (mini Adam’s Peak), depending on how fast you go and the number of photos you take. The trail starts at a slight incline and blows through the tea plantations. There are some best photo opportunities in the early stages of enhancement, so keep your eyes peeled.

After a 5-10 min walk, you will reach a flight of stairs that will take you to the top of Little Adams Hill. When you see the Buddha sitting on top, you will know that you have reached the top. For those looking for something more, you have the opportunity to climb to the second hill. This takes approximately 10-15 minutes of extra time. The scene at the second climax is similar but I still recommend trying to do both. Little Adams has plenty of perfect rocks and viewing angles to photograph from the top of the mountain.

• Best time to hike Little Adam’s peak, Ella

The best time to climb Little Adam’s Mountains is early in the morning. The hike is best to start when it is still dark; then you can experience the maximum sunrise of the incredible little Adam as you ascend. You can start climbing little Adam’s peak at 5 am and stay on top of Little Adam’s peak until 6 am sunrise. One thing to note is that the mountains around you are at a fairly high level. So even after the actual sunrise, it will take some time for the sunrise to the top of the mountain.

• Getting to Little Adams Peak

The road to the top of Little Adam’s peak begins near a 98-acre resort. You can get on a moped to get out of here, or you can take a tuk-tuk from Ella. It’s a very popular mountaineering route so you can see how people get in the way and always stop asking for advice from the locals.
